Heating with natural gas

The Ionizheat

In order to  heat   homes  or  objects, with central   heating systems we currently use almost always natural gas to provide the energy.

The water temperature  or  outgoing temperature  is    approx. 90°C,  while  the return temperature is approx. 70°C .

At present,  7.5  million  homes are being heated in this  way  in the Netherlands. When heating or cooking with  natural gas  CO2  is emitted.

The Government  has  committed itself to finding  ways  to reduce CO2 emissions in the Netherlands . It  has    also  committed itself  to this within the  European  Union . The  Government  wants  the Netherlands to no  longer  release CO2 by 2050. The  reduction  of CO2  emissions is necessary to counter  the  negative  change  in the climate  and  the  environment .

For   this    reason too, it is    expected  that  future natural gas  and  the  use of other  so called. fossil  fuels  will gradually become   significantly  more expensive. A  total      ban  on  the  use  of  fossil  energy carriers  is  not   yet  under  discussion because  of  the  lack of    alternatives.

It is certain that the use of natural gas for heating and cooking comes to an  end.  When  that will be depends on the availability of good alternatives .  In 2050, preferably  before, no one in the Netherlands is still  using natural gas.
